500 to 300
This time I have successfully dowloaded record from the A500 database on Agoston's server but found a problem: record has come in ansel coding. Do you have any solution for that? E.g. to involve some char_conv table?
300 to 500
I tried to download a record from A300 www. After I had clicked on the load
icon URL was not properly created: http://195.113.132.80:4001/aleph1/a33_0/dem/scratch/d631908.mrc and the browser announced that I am not priviledged to see that particular page what
was really confusing. There is no aleph1 but just aleph directory on our server. Nevertheless records are saved in the /aleph/a33_0/dem/scratch directory. No record was saved on PC. Is it my fault?
At the moment I have disabled the display of the text for the icon for further testing (not to confuse our users).

[Aharon Rivlin]  It is all our fault. We fixed the bug and you can find the
corrected programs in ram23.exlibris.co.il   Please ftp from this machine,
login ftp,  cd  pub/version_33005/ALPHA and get, in binary mode, the 2 gnt files:
www_04.gnt   and   www_38.gnt
After ftp, please copy them to your $aleph_exe directory. You may get also the file chap53.man from the same place, putting it in .../a33_0/aleph/manual  directory.
Also, add to the security_path in the file www_server_defaults:
$alephe_nfs
After taking these 3 steps, restart the www_server.

All troubles were solved by the new programs www_04.gnt and www_38.gnt from Sept. 6 (for 33_05).

There are two outstanding issues:
- Records from A500 comes in ANSEL coding
- In records from A300 indicators are cut out if the first one is not defined and there is "-" on the 4th position of the tag
