Our informal group started to work in 1996 based on CASLIN Working Group for ALEPH Implementation. Every Czech and Slovak library can take part in its activities no matter whether it is an ICAU member or not.

The aim is an exchange of information about  ALEPH, now in both versions, and mutual help. The main tools for that are:

• meetings taking place once or twice a year (reports available in Czech)
• publishing of interesting materials prepared by users (programs, manuals, user profiles etc.)
• participation in international acitivities (ICAU, NAAUG)
• having seminars together ...   that means: more benefit, less cost
• communication through closed mailing list (see archive), the working language is Czech
• this web site (maintained mostly in Czech)
